I have been baking this bread for many many years and was given to me from my mother-in-law Monica. Super easy and quick to pull together, I often make two loaves, one for the freezer as it freezes well if wrapped correctly. It's at its best served with homemade coleslaw, butter and REAL ham!
Can be easily adapted to a white or a fruit soda bread. For a white soda bread- just use all white flour and add 3 tbs sugar. If you want a fruit soda just add as much fruit as you like.
